In the latest Telegram update, a number appeared showing the number of clients in the bot
Let's figure out the issue: Why does this number differ from the one shown in your control panel?
Why does the number of users in Telegram differ from the number on the website?
The number displayed in the panel on the website is the total number of users who interacted with the bot. (At minimum, they sent /start)
In our authorization bot, there are 127000 active users, but Telegram shows the number: 25252 It would be easy to think that the difference is the users who wrote to the bot and then blocked it.
But no, the screenshot shows that messages are reaching the users.
So we conclude that the number shown in Telegram is the total number of users who contacted the bot over the last 30 days. (In our system, this is activity over 30 days)
