What is LirPay?

First steps

Open LirPay and create a merchant account. During registration, the system generates a 12-word seed phrase. The phrase is the only means of access; the email password is not used.

Creating a store (merchant)

Payment acceptance is linked to the approved project.
For the store in Telegram, select the project type - "Telegram bot" and specify the bot username. The username must end with bot.
1. Open the "Projects" section in the merchant interface.
2. Select the project type "Telegram bot".
3. Specify the bot username and create the project.

Project ownership verification

A “website” project is verified by a DNS TXT record.

A “Telegram bot” project is verified as follows:
in @BotFather, set the bot’s display name exactly as shown in the LirPay interface, add the bot to the LirPay verification group, and start the verification. After successful verification, wait for moderator approval.

1. Copy the required bot display name from the project card.
2. Set this name in @BotFather and add the bot to the verification group.
3. Click “Verify ownership” and wait for moderator approval.

Payment acceptance in the live environment is unavailable until the project status becomes “approved.”

API key issuance

In the merchant interface, open the “Integrations → API keys” section and create a live key. For the test environment, create a separate test key. Copy the secret immediately: it is shown once and is not displayed again.

Webhook URL specification

Open “Settings” and specify the BOT-T endpoint in the Webhook URL field. After a successful live payment, LirPay sends the standard signed merchant webhook to this address.
